Heirs & Graces was established in the Derbyshire Peak District to serve embroidery, patchwork and Embroidery Books enthusiasts in the Derbyshire. That was 25 Years ago and it is thanks to our loyal customers who appreciate our expertise, huge stocks of Embroidery Books and friendly approach that we have established one of the United Kingdom’s best and biggest independent family owned groups catering for the discerning Embroidery Books, Embroiderer, Knitter and weaver and Spinner covering the Derbyshire area.
We now have two shops, Heirs and Graces and White Peak Embroidery. Between these shops, we serve the whole of the Derbyshire with Embroidery Books supplies and Embroidery Books Courses.
To help you relax we have a superb Tea Room in our Embroidery shop ( which is onlya very short walk down the road from our Patchwork shop) and this helps to enhance your hobby enjoyment. Our friendly staff will help in any way they can and our range of Courses are exceptional with expert teachers to show you exciting and quick ways of realising your ideas.
We also have a holiday flat above White Peak Embroidery which is an ideal base to explore the Peak District or a base to stay whilst enjoying our Embroidery Books courses. We have had clients stay with us from all over the UK including Derbyshire.
Although we take clients from all over the country for our courses, hence we advertise all across the country, our courses are based in Derbyshire. Many clients traveling to a course, combine their visit with a short holiday and choose to stay in our beautiful holiday flat above White Peak Embroidery.

As well as selling various craft products, we wish our customers to get the very best from their purchases, so we run a number of course to enhance your skills and knowledge. Our courses , including embroidery techniques, patch working courses, knitting workshops and various other craft disciplines such as weaving and spinning.
Our courses run throughout the year and can cater for the beginner to the experienced enthusiast. Courses are based in our Patchwork shop, Heirs & Graces where we have a large work area and all of the materials required to complete your chosen project. We also run spinning and knitting and Embroidery Courses at White Peak Embroidery.
You may either bring a packed lunch or for Patch work and Embroidery course you can take a break in our Tea Room at Whitepeak Embroidery. Free parking is available at both Whitepeak Embroidery and Heirs & Graces.
